Nepenthes chaniana – BE-3673 – New Clone
Nepenthes chaniana is a surprisingly attractive plant, and hard to find in cultivation. At our nursery we grow these under intermediate conditions. This species is from tissue culture from Borneo Exotics, and is a new clone. Customers will need to grow this species under warm temperatures. This means that the night temperatures should be 60° Fahrenheit. Daytime temperatures should stay around 80°-85° F. Nepenthes in general like the humidity to be 75% or higher. In addition remember to use distilled water, rain water or reverse osmosis with your Nepenthes. Most noteworthy about this species is it’s hirsute green body. In addition this is an easy to care for species and harder to find in cultivation. Because the plant is still young, some of the characteristics won’t show yet. The plant in the photographs is representative of the plant you will receive.
