Description
Heliamphora heterodoxa and Drosera – Immature – Native Exotics
Heliamphora heterodoxa x self
This specimen is a well hardened-off clone from our own nursery here at Native Exotics. It’s small, about 1″ across. It’s producing immature traps. There is a Drosera growing in the pot as well.
This plant prefers highland conditions, which means that it should be kept around 70-80°F during the day and 50-60°F at night with a very high relative humidity.
Heliamphora as a genus prefer high humidity, at least 75% RH for most species. In addition, they should be watered with distilled water, rainwater or reverse osmosis water rather than tap or well water. Fertilizing Heliamphora should only be done rarely, and with extreme care.
