Nepenthes platychila x boschiana – Christian Klein – Seed Grown
Nepenthes platychila x boschiana is a really stunning hybrid. At our nursery we grow these under highland conditions. This hybrid is from Christian Klein. Customers will need to grow this species under cool temperatures. This means that the night temperatures should be 58-60° Fahrenheit. Daytime temperatures should stay around 78°-80° F. Nepenthes in general like the humidity to be 75% or higher. In addition remember to use distilled water, rain water or reverse osmosis with your Nepenthes. Most noteworthy about this hybrid it’s striking pitchers. Furthermore it produced from seed. Due to this hybrid’s parentage it is known to produce colorful pitchers and a very striped peristome. Because the plant is still young, some of the characteristics won’t show yet. The plant in the photo is representative of the plant you will receive.
